Vahid Alimirzaei received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Hamedan University of Technology, Hamedan, Iran, in 2017, the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, 2020. His research interests include brain-computer interface (BCI), neuroscience, brain signal processing, deep brain stimulation (DBS), machine learning, and image processing. The main focus of his research during recent years was to control motor function using deep brain stimulation (DBS). Currently, he is a Research Staff Member at the Iran Neural Technology Center while where he is working on the control of fish locomotion using DBS as well as decoding the fish swimming from the neural signal recorded from the brain.
