Director Researchers Ph.D. Candidate Students Alumni
Ehsan Rouhani received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Shahrekord University, Shahrekord, Iran, in 2006, the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2018. Since 2018, he has been a Faculty Member of the biomedical engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. The principal focus of his research is on the robust control of the movement through functional electrical stimulation (Intraspinal microstimulation). His research interests include fuzzy neural network estimator, adaptive and sliding mode control (SMC) of the neuromusculoskeletal system using intraspinal microstimulation, and chaos control. Currently, he focuses on the design of dynamical biological systems modeling including thalamocortical computational model of absence epilepsy and basal ganglia–thalamic network model for treatment of Parkinson’s disease and noninvasive Transcranial electrical stimulation (tES).
